Default **New Intake Manifold for LG Motorsports GT2 Alms Corvette

Hi Guys,

I thought that you might want to see some progress on the GT2 Corvette ALMS car. This is a new manifold is being developed by Kinsler and will be a different set up for the LS7 vs LS3.

The final product will have bolt up flanges on each runner to make an air tight seal to the plenum so the series can do a "Stall" test to make sure that all the air goes through the restrictors with no leaks.

I will keep you up to date on further developments as we get them.

Thanks guys.

Lou Gigliotti

Very cool Lou. Now that you are going into a series with different rules, you have new things for us to drool over and dream about (and sell to us!).

Definitely would not want a restrictor coming loose under any conditions. Nice design.

Default Dang, that is hot!

To borrow from my lovely wife, who would say, "That make me wet"!

That thing gives me a boner! Let us know pricing and dyno stuff when it comes out.

Kinsler is making this available to the public. but a car must have a stand alone Engine management sysem.

We have some final details to finish up for an air tight seal per the Lemans rules but there should be an engine on the dyno in about 10 days. (restrictors and all)

Thanks

Lou, is that an ETC solenoid I see up front? Do you have any pictures of the air boxes yet? Are you going to run a cover from air box to air box so as to protect the linkage from the harsh environment under the hood?

Remember we have to go through 2 small restrictors so we have to seal it and the restrictors wil be fed with fresh air.

We will have cold air tubes entering from the front into a large plenum

I will keep you posted

Thanks

sean, no ETC with this car. Making this work in with a 411, E38 or E40 box would be next to impossible.
