The driver doesn't seem to be very smooth.

I'm pretty sure that they were appreciative of him flogging it without putting it in a wall all in one lap.

Why is footage missing at 0.45 sec, did he have a 'moment' exiting
that corner?
Also, why does he brake on the straight at 0.57 sec? To downshift and
demonstrate acceleration?

Great looking vette!! Wow. Perhaps the hood is functional to allow the supercharger to keep cool during extended performance use, e.g., road course work. I agree - I could take or leave the hood, but WOW!

According to the Road and Track article, the wheel bearings have been upgraded. I wonder if these can be installed on C5's and non-ZR1 C6's.
Also, I see they changed their ABS electronics to Bosch for all C6's. Hopefully the new goods will be more reliable.

I wonder if the car will be trackable in factory delivered configuration. Typically forced induction cars have heat soak problems after more than a few laps. Have the GM engineers got this figured out so that the car will be usable to the fullest for more than short bursts ????

So, Jeffrey, since you and Mr. Wallace are so tight , has he informed you as to why the ZR1 is weighing in at 200 lbs more than the Z06? Or is that mis-info or a typo?

They F'd it up again! 3350lbs...WTF What's with the weight increase? This thing has tons of carbon fiber and ceramic brakes, you would have though the ceramic brakes would be worth 50-70lbs alone?
