Default [Driving Sims] Race 07 by SimBin

A new release called Race 07 by SimBin appears to add another quality
driving simulation game to the list.

I have been using GTR/GTR2, rFactor and Colin McRae Rally 2005 for
my winter entertainment, but Race 07 is now on the 'To Buy' list.

Yep...RACE '07 is alot of fun! Not quite as elaborate as GTR/2, but still very realistic and the cars are great to drive! You can't lose!

Too Tall Bob has the nicest driving den I have yet to see with not one,
but two VGT's. TTB, did you make inquiries about the Force Dynamic simulator?
Any enhancements to the den?

The videos on the F-D company site do not work currently but there
are a few others on line that can give people an idea of the F-D 301's
features

I have not had the chance to try one of the "motion" simulators, but I have heard from a few who have tried them that it didn't impress them much. I had a friend try another brand of motion-type simulator recently who has driven mine and he preferred mine.

The other sims that I have seen all use a small "monitor" type of display, (TV, plasma, LCD) but the real simulation comes from the size of the image when its projected onto a large screen in front of you. I've tried other VGT's using a plasma monitor and it's just not the same for me. Being immersed in front of a 80" wide image makes all the difference in the world!

Other enhancements?...VGT is coming out with some new software which is supposed to really upgrade what is now being used. I'll let you know when I have it in place and what it does.
