I don't think that a HANS would make much difference if they crashed. Besides, the HANS device is to keep the head in place because the body is strapped into the car, while the head moves freely. They aren't strapped into anything with something like this.

That is really cool! I'm not EVER going to do it, but it's cool. The funny thing is that I have no problem doing similar things when I'm at the controls of an airplane but jumping off something just freaks me out.

Do a continued search for Wing Suit flying on youtube and you can see some more amazing video footage. There are several done with helmet cams that are absolutely amazing. Those guys have brass ***** to even consider something like that, the adrenalin rush must last for hours !!!!!

once your past 35-40 y.o. with 2 kids and a wife, you just don't do **** like that anymore. Those days are over. The HPDE is enough for me, and I'm happy at 9/10th.

If you caught me at 20 y.o., still in college, with no repsonsibilty's, I may have done it. The problem is I had no money back then.
