You would be shocked if you saw how many different parts of the world race Corvettes. Japan, China-Asia, Costa Rica, Africa, Russia, Europe(all over), Panama, New Zealand, Austrila, and ETC are all places that I have shipped parts to.

I've been over here in Japan (mainland and Okinawa) for the last year. I've seen only three different vettes on the street. Japan needs more...

However, I'm finally coming home to the greatest county... the good old USA, next week!!!!!! Can't wait.

Europeans either love or hate the Corvette, no in the middle. When I was in Germany people would come up to me all the time and ask about the car or take pictures. I remember parking next to a beautiful F575 and when I got back there was a small crowd taking pictures of my car and ignoring the Ferrari next to me The other side is that I also got a lot of dirty looks for having a loud, obnoxious, wasteful, American pile of junk, which I always found funny since I got better gas milage and did less maintenance (excluding track consumables) on the vette than the BMW that was just supposed to get me to and from work.

You should have seen back when we raced in France. I went to the airport at 2AM. I drove out on to the paddock for planes ( i forget the term) I almost loaded up the plane myself, but the guys came and helped. Now days you would never get away with stuff like that.

There is a Corvette Club in Tokyo as well as a dealer in Yokohama who sells alot of C3's with body mods (Ecklers, etc.) I'll dig up the links if anyone wants them.

EDIT: http://www.corvette-club.jp/

He'll be rocking the ADM "American Domestic Market" (instead of JDM) parts on his car.
