Default Anyone have any ideas? Here is the story...I'll make a very short

A little over a year ago I replaced all my C5 suspension with new '04 Z06 stuff. Everything has been beautiful so far except a few weeks ago I noticed that the L/F corner is all the sudden lower by almost a full inch! I have checked every pc. of the front end and can find nothing even remotely wrong! And Now I have reset my ride height but the front adjusting bolts are not even remotely close as far as threads measuring the same!!! I went 4 full turns clockwise to raise the l/f corner and almost 4 turns counter clockwise to lower the r/f corner!! WTF? The car now sits perfect and handles perfect! Help!!! Anyone? Should I be worried? Is there anything else I should be looking for? And why the heck is the R/F higher than the L/F. From my notebooks, the r/f corner somehow moved up!

The adjuster on the end of the spring could have sheared off. It is very common, and an easy fix. Check that out and let us know!

Well I was also thinking shock but they are still tight and the adjusters are working!!!! I know I'm not the smartest bear but I've looked and looked and looked! I will be going coilovers before long but I don't want to complicate things.

plastic springs sag after awhile or the rubber pad on adjuster has taken a vacation

i say shock was stuck or sway bar was stuck...if it was the spring it would not have come back... outside chance stuck balljoint or bushings but i really doubt those

what did you change? springs, sways, shocks, spindles, A arms, tie rods everything? are thw wheel hub/bearings any better?

what is the main difference between c5 and c6 suspensiom? i thought they were almost the same?

Can the shock get stuck? I haven't changed anything in over a year.

Spring can delaminate, but that generally would slam both sides.

Springs are good, bushings are good, suspension bolts tight. I finally got it level and will take it for a ride this weekend. For whatever reason, it looks like the R/F corner actually somehow rose up!!!!! I'm grabbing my ammo box right now!!

^ Well whenever you have them in the air it takes drive time to get the suspension to re-settle.

Nope. EVERY nut and bolt is tight! I have to put a few miles on it this weekend and then I'll report back.

Update: Well, no matter what I do the r/f is about 1 inch higher than the l/f!!!! No matter how I adjust the adjustment bolts...seems to make no differance!! I did notice today that the adjuster bushing on the l/f seems to be much softer and somewhat distorted!! So maybe I'll replace those and start over and reset ride height. Anything better than the stock material?
