What ballmount you get depends some what on the vehicle you are towing with. On my Ridgeline I have the ballmount in position "B" in the link you gave. The top of my ballmount is 19-1/4" making the top of the ball 22-1/2". The rise or drop is 4" on my ballmount.
Note: I am tow the same 3110 featherlite you are talking about.

Mouse, that link's fine if your gonna tow a lightweight trailer. The rise/drop will depend on what you're towing with. And the tongue weight will make quite a difference (how you have the trailer loaded and the position of the car on/in the trailer). I've seen a 2-3 inch difference between loaded and full on an enclosed.
Do you have the trailer already? Open/Enclosed?

you need to keep the tow vehicle and trailer level when loaded then measure the drop or rise you need to offset the difference.

hitch
Buy the adjustable hitch so you can get it exactly right. When you get the trailer try to get it as level as you can, they take as good a guess on the hitch as you can and hook up the trailer. Drive the car onto the trailer and take a level and see if its level. If not unhook and readjust until you get it as close as possible. Then what I have done is take a piece of electricians tape and mark the center line of the cars front wheels so you have a reference point. Try to get some wheel stops and install them. Buy a spare tire and put it in your truck, you never know when you need one.

I use an adjustable, weight distribution hitch. My 05 Yukon worked perfectly, then when I got my new 07' Yukon XL, they raised the stupid coupler up about 4" from the previous generation, so I had to get a new Trunnion.
bottom line, I would borrow something to get started, then measure high much higher/lower you need to get it level, then buy the right thing. It's really hard to get it perfect without all parts in hand.
