What wheel/tire combos can I ´fit under the fenders, so that they don´t stick out and don´t scrape anwhere?
Active Handling should work, also.
I am very interested in a set of the black forgelines (lowest pix) for round course racing on slicks.

Great question. I have bee researching this too.
In my research it looks like a 275/35-18 or 275/30-19 will will fit and not stick out if the offset is correct.
On the rear a 295 will fit fine for sure. I have looked at a ton of pictures and it is not completly clear to me if a 305/35-18 or 305/30-19 will fit without sticking out. Some of the picture that I have seen make it look like the 305 sticks out and in some pictures it is not clear if they do or not. I need a good picture looking from the top looking down to tell for sure...

I would not hesitate to get that:
http://www.lewisfivemotorsports.com/products.html
Would make fitting a 335 or 345 no problem........
I allready emailed with John@CCW about it, as he brought me up to that homepage......and I run CCW wheels on all my cars......
But a 335/XX/18 or 345/XX/19 would be pretty tall, also...and I seriously doubt the Active Handling would work with them......that´s what worries me
I don´t care about AH on the ractrack....but I def. want it working on the street......
Damn, I forgot how hard it was to find a working wide wheel/tire combo for the C5 and keep the AH working
I we should open a new thread about wheel/tire combo search.....may be the 1010th thread about such, though

I have been looking at the L5 flares. I am concerned about paint match since my car is millinium yellow and that can be tough to match.
I have 295s on my car now. I thought that I only had about 1/2" of clearance between the tire and the wheel well now. That would mean that a 305 wouldn't fit using my no sticking out of the fender standards.
