I need to find the 8ft straps for my car, I only need the strap and hook only, not the ratchet part as I have those from my other straps that I already have. I have looked at Northern Tool, Lowes, Home Depot and even Harbor Freight and no one has them at all. Any ideas as Jegs does not seem to stock just the strap part, either on-line or a chain would be good for me as I will need these in the next 3 weeks. The straps I have are 20 and 30 ft long which is way to much excess to mess with on the vette. Any help would be appreciated!!!

If you wife or you can sew and has a machine you can cut them to length and sew the hooks back on using 10# test nylon fishing line.

I made mine and use them with the Vette and SRF. They have many thousands of miles on them and just keep on working.

Northern tool has the hooks.
