Default HAWK DTC-70/60 for C6 Z06 Track Use?

I think I'm going to use these pads on my Z06 for track use. Looking for feedback, positive or negative, before I purchase them. Or any other suggestions.. Thanks in advance!

I used the DTC-70/60 with the stock calipers/rotors to good effect. Also went to 70s in the rear to see if more braking effort could be generated. Not certain if it helped, but it didn't hurt control either.

They did consume the stock rotors quickly. StopTek two piece rotors were an improvement. High temp brake fluid, SS brake lines and front rotor air ducts are inexpensive and helpful.

Thanks Dean. I have SS lines, 2 piece Slotted Stop Techs on the Front and slotted DBAs on the rear with Motul Fluid. I have Porterfield R-4 pads, but some people have complained about them trashing the rotors, so I'm looking for another pad. Anyone else?

I have used DTC-70 pads exclusively in my C5Z and now in my C6Z. Over 4 years with no problems. You will like them.

I used 70s/60s before going to BBK and they worked well. Next best thing to BBKs, and the slotted rotors will help with the rotor life. JD

Have you looked into the CarboTech XP12's? I was told they work well with the DBA 4000 rotors.

Usually DTC-70 all the way around. One time I got a set from JDillon that was 70 front, 60 rear. I could not tell any difference vs. my usual set-up.
