Default Fender liner trimming for 17x11 fitment?

So, i bought 17x11's thinking that they'd fit up front and rear, but alas they rub up front

So, would anyone have any guidance on where/how to cut the fender liner? Are there any places i should not cut?

Thanks!

I don't get any rubbing on the fender liner but I sure do get rubbing on the lower control arms. You need to put a steering stop in place to keep the wheels from hitting the control arms since that strips the inner wheel weights off the wheel.

Is your car lowered or too low?

its lowered but not silly low... I may try and raise it up a little, but I'll need to find out how to do that.

I never had a problem running 17x11 w 305s all around on C4R.
Are you running 305s or 315s up front?
W 305s and rubbing, prolly too low

I run 18x12 with 305s up front -2.2 camber with no rubbing.

My car is all the way UP on a T1 suspension which is about 1" lower then stock

I run 18x11 with 315s up front -1.6 camber with no rubbing. What type of wheels (ZR1 or Grand Sport repros?) are you using - wondering about the offset (+55?) that may be a factor if ride height is not the cause.

Sorry i probably should have posted all the info.

Car:
98 c5 on T1 springs and penske shocks (i have no idea what camber its running or height)
Wheels:
Zr-1 repos +55 17x11
Tires:
315 Hoosier rains, full tread

From what i can see the rubbing is only on the outside of the tires on both the front and the back of the fender wheels (when they are turned left and right).

Any suggestions on a height and alignment? I figure I'll have it aligned before this weekend and i hope that will solve the problem.

I run the GS offset's, not the ZR1 offset's and my only rubbing problem is on on the inside of the fender wells when the I'm at full right or full left.

I think the +50 is the GS offset so I'd think +55 would not be that bad. Now I'm sure its the height thats the problem with my car. So time to raise it up a little.
