Default Best pads for autoX c6 ???

Car is a DD, but I also AutoX it 15-20 times a year.
PF-Z, Hawk HP-Plus, or Z06 pads. Also if I run the PF
or the HP-plus pads can I change the pads out and
not the rotors after each event ?
Thanks for your input.

I've decided to go with Cobalt Friction pads. Have good reviews, but I don't have them on the car yet. The GTS pads look like they would be good for autoX

I run Hawk HP+. Great stopping power w/ss lines, zero fade, and if it starts to get noisy dd just run them hard in the hills for 1/2hr. Mine NEVER squeak around town any more. If you autox and then dd without ever pushing them hard expect them to scream like a train whistle.

I am going to try the Carbotech AX6 this year. I just ordered the fronts and will be getting the rears next month. I have used the Hawk HP+'s before and really liked them. My only issue with them was that the dust ate my wheels. This is why I'm going to give the carbo's a chance.

This is good advice. I'm going to start the season on the OEM C6 Z06 pads and see what happens, but the HP+ pads were great on my C5 Z, and I'll switch to them at some point.

Prepare to buy some new rotors with the HP+. I went through 4 set of pads without needing new rotors. 3 track days on the HP+ = rotor time.
