like for dirt track cars they are 2 to 1....

We use a coleman racing prolite 1.5:1, works perfectly. It's the blue one in this article: http://www.stockcarracing.com/techar.../photo_08.html

The 2:1 units are just too twitchy.

I have one on my C4...Z51 rack with 2 to 1....gives it one turn of the wheel lock to lock...Great for autocross....I love it

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/COLEM...em130197595932 This is the one I use...Wasn't a bad installation on the C4...Had to fabricate a bracket to the framerail to hang it between the column and the rack..We are going to try to put one on a C5 in a month or so..
