C6 vs C6Z Front Upper Shock Mount? Bushings?
Anybody have a photo of a C6Z front upper shock mount? I'm curious if they're the same between the C6 and C6Z, but I'm fairly certain they're not
The non-Z C6 looks like:
How long before I need to think about bushings? This is 13Kmi total, and a good number of track events.

Yeah, you are definitely in need of new bushings! Glad to see you are getting some track time!! The C6 and C6Z shock mounts are indeed different. Because the C6Z uses an aluminum frame these shock mounts are aluminum instead of the steel units that the C6 have. So the mount is thicker but the location of the mount is the same.
Hope this helps. I would take a picture of our C6Z but we have some "Top Secret" parts on it right now!

Your bushings are fine... it's the front lower bushings that push. The car shift forward on the A-arm to the point that the rear of the A-arm hits the metal of the cradle. Looking at the pics your'e not even close to metal/metal contact. Let me see if I still have a picture of mine after 4 years of HPDE use... that'll show you what shot ones look like.

I'd believe you if I could get the dog bone back over the studs in the frame... the bushing has shifted so far to the rear the dogbone won't line up.
