Default Who's getting wet with me tomorrow at Roebling w/ Seat-Time?

Tomorrow should be interesting for sure thanks to the 90% chance of rain all day. Oh well. I took a 1/2 day off work today to prep the car. Who else is going?

It poured all day Saturday when I was out there in January. Make sure you take some garbage bags and tape for "seat covers". RRR insists you drive with the windows down.

If you haven't done it before, it's a "great learning experience" according to Jon K. It really does give you great car control experience and I got to see what "active handling" was really capable of.

Have fun! I'll be out in March with Chin.

Crap! I didn't even think about having the windows down.
Did you just tape a trash bag around your seat? Wonder if my interior is going to get soaked.

You will learn to be smooth and gentle with inputs. You will see how the car handles "crossed up" at much lower speeds.

It does not get that wet in the car when driving....bring a towel...

I will be getting there ~0730 tomorrow....

You might need an umbrella at RRR. We will probably need a salt truck or a plow at VIR. Have fun!

Looks like you may not be going anyway, but yeah I slid the bag over the seatback and taped around. Did the same with the seat cushion which was a little more challenging, but worked surprisingly well. I took lots of towels to wipe down, but really, once you're at speed there's minimal water coming into the car. My interior didn't get soaked.

C6s get a lot wetter inside then a C5 does - by far. Not sure why but the water does flow in on a C6....
