My T1 Vette Got a Makeover- Pictures
Thought you all might like to see what I have been up too this winter. It was time to replace some broken panels, bumpers and get some fresh paint on the old T1 car.
I am really happy how it turned out. So happy I am affraid to race it now. Rubbins racing right?
The car is headed to the Cleveland AutoRama next weekend and will be displayed in the SCCA NeOhio booth if any of you are local and going. I will not be there as I have to work at the Sebring 12 hour race.
I also had my good friend Tim build me a website, so if you would like to view it, here you go. www.quinemotorsports.com. We will be adding more pictures and in-car vidio from over the years as well as other goodies. Stay tuned!
Hope to get out for the first DBL National at Nelson's on Memorial day weekend.
Cheers,

Very purdy Aaron - the website looks great too!
I like the CF panel where the passenger airbag used to be. I have a gaping hole there right now that I've been trying to decide how to fill. Yours turned out great!

Beautiful
It does look to pretty to race, makes me think about rattle can painting mine now!
I am considering black, silver and red, my company color scheme, your car confirms that I would like it that way

You should stop by a local sand box style play ground. Then grab a hand full or two of sand. As you are walking to the car, cirlce your arm to get it warmed up. Step in to it, and throw a hand full of sand at the front. Just get it over with now, so it doesn't **** you off later.
Wait, the car in the lead doesn't get sand blasted, so never mind. Just worry about being out front every race Car looks good

Aaron... the car looks great. But, what about the motor. I know you have said in the past you wish you had a rebuild or maybe new motor... what is the deal? You didn't spend all the money on the paint and forget the motor, did you?

Aaron, the car look great. Almost as good as your "better half." Although I never thought the car looked bad in the first place, and I got a few good looks at it this past year.
I like the fact you have a "Prime Time" number on that car.
See you over the Memorial Day Dual National. If I am racing in T1 I will be looking to exact some revenge.

I was very fortunate to get some local sponsors to help out on the purchase of a new motor. I will be pulling that after I get back from the Sebring 12 Hour race.
Got to thank the boys at Mongoose Motorsports for the use of their facility and helping me out with the painting.
I also bought the triple adjustable Moton shocks from Chris Ingle's old C5 T1 car. Thank you Chris for the great deal on them
Mr Pintaric,
It was a good looking 50 ft car, and Angie is laughing at you over my shoulder. Hope to see you at Nelson's too for your revenge race.
