Default Speed Bleeders on C6 - how many needed?

I guess just one per wheel is okay for an '08 Z51 C6 Coupe? I hope so because that is all I ordered, but I'd hate to take the wheel off and need two per wheel or something like that.

One per wheel. You're just replacing the bleeders.

Speed Bleeders told me that the Z06 (I think) has more than one bleeder per wheel. Is that right?

Thanks for the confirmation, gkmccready!!

Yes, the Z06 needs two per wheel.

you do have someone helping you do this right? Not that it's hard, but you want to make sure you do it right when you're messing with brakes, and when someone asks how many bleeders there are, i start to worry about they turning a wrench alone.

I will have my wife pump the brake pedal while I make sure the master cylinder is staying full as I flush out the stock fluid and put in some ATE Super Blue.

I'm not a skilled mechanic by any stretch, but I've bled the brakes enough on other cars to pull it off without probably causing any permanent damage.

As you will find out, the beauty of Speedbleeders is that it does not require two people to bleed; the check valve in the Speedbleeder will prevent any loss of fluid. Be sure to buy the "bleeder bag" , it is a must have.

They are just a spring operated check (one way) valve. Allows air and fluid out but nothing back in.
