T1 sway bars which position?
I just put the T1 sway bars on my car and was wondering which position the rear endlinks should be in. The adjustable endlinks are from the GM T1 package too. This will be used primarily as a street car and I expect to do about 6 HPDEs this year.

Start in the middle slot and see how it feels. There are lots of adjustments to camber, toe, pressures, etc, etc to do first, but if you've done all that and the car is too loose, switch to the outer holes. If the car wants to push, move the heim joints to the inner holes. Using the inner holes makes the bar stiffer so the rear end will step out a bit more. 99% of drivers will not notice a difference though.
You can also make adjustments for tracks that are harder or easier on the rear tires, etc.
You need to attach them with your weight in the dr seat and preferably on a set of scales to ensure they are neutral...

99% will not notice because???? they just are not good enough to feel it? They are not driving hard enough to make the suspension work so that they could feel it? I have had the latter on different componants on different cars.

Ok, let try this,,,, more bar (stiffer) in front = understeer.
more bear in rear (stiffer)= oversteer,,, as a rule of thumb. You are looking for a balance that you and your lap times like. Best thing to start with is a tire pyrometer, (not expensive anymore) to set your tires so they are happy with, pressure, camber, toe, and caster. there is no magic answer to your question, you must start to test and get your own answers. Plus its fun!
