Default Tire Help!

I know everyone is tired of answering this question . I have a 07 z-06 which I plan to use to do a number of HPDE's and autocrossess with this year. I plan on trailering the car to the different events. I have purchased a set of stock painted wheels which I need tires for. The question is what is the best tire for these events being that I will be trailering, and knowing that the rear 19" size has limited manufactures. All info will be appreciated knowing this subject has been run into the ground. I do not at this time have the option of going to a 18" rear.

Thanks
Alavette

Please fill out your user profile - city & state, Corvette year & type, your first name, etc.
It helps us get to know you, and it helps us give you the specific info you might need.

Although their prices have gone up, IMO the best bang-for-the-buck tire for a combination HPDE/Auto-x car is the Kumho V710. Excellent grip and seems to wear really well compared to the Hoosiers. And they're lighter than all but the Hoosiers.

I ran a set at Motorsports Ranch last year and got through 40+ twenty minute sessions before the fronts corded. My suspension is considerably modified from stock, however, so YMMV.

Go Hoosiers! Look on tirerack.com prices and sizes are there.

I have just purchased a new set of R-6 hoosiers and a set of stock wheels for HPDE events for my 07 Z.
Can I ask for feedback on recomended tire pressures....ie Cold and best hot pressures?
Many Thanks

40-41 hot try 32-33 Front 31-32 rear. Some here recommend way lower but it feels horrible to me and tires will be gone in short order.
