Default larger brake res.?

I know this question has been asked before but....
cannot afford DRM resivoir but I've heard there is a GM truck one that works? I already have the proportioning valve that I want to mount in the dash.

What is your situation...... If you are trying to use mismatched calipers (ie fronts on the rear), this will not correct your problem. Even a pressure relieve porportioning valve cannot properly adjust for having 60% too much rear piston diameter.

If you've simply gone to larger pistons front and rear, the GM truck cylinder can work. I think it's from a late 90's truck, and you should be able to find it on an online catalog like gmpartsdirect.

I used this before, and it ended up being a doorstop.....

what I would like to do is add the stock fronts to the rear. I already have stoptech ST60 up front.

A new master cylinder is more an issue of getting a unit without the built-in prop valve to use your adj valve. A 7/8", 15/16", 1" or 1 1/8" bore is more a matter of pedal effort vs pedal travel.
Stock fronts to rear isnt an issue from a piston size issue withr the Wilwood setup, so if the Stop Tech is close, you should be fine.

some don't mind it but most here who have tried it don't like it. They say long pedal. Your St-60 should have the same piston volume as stock. Try it and see how it feels. You have a 99 so you can put in a DRM bias spring also which is 15-20 bucks

I dont understand your question, but both my stock 7/8" bore, later changed to the 1" bore from a camaro worked fine. The larger pedal traval, but lower pedal force, on the small bore actually makes threshold braking easier if you have an aggressive pad like the PFC 01, 03, 05. But like John said, most dont like the small bore. Ive been told some have gone as high as a 1 1/4" bore.

I run ST-60s front and ST-40s rear with the stock master cylinder. For me it works fine with high hard pedal and no problems at all.
