I've had it up to here with this media garbage about the GT-R. I didnt think the nonsense would make it to the states.
Do we have some times from Buttonwillow Config #13 CW? Or someone willing to go do some? Dont need you to set a blazing time, but only to show even more that the pro driver Road and Track used was sandbagging. (He was already 1 second slower in the Z06 than mag editor from Car and Driver and they were driven in similar condidtions, but still he's a ex factory NISSAN driver)
I'm debating just going ahead and getting one myself, but I'm not going all the way to CA for buttonwillow.

AllanLaw here on the forum runs a stock '06Z and is an instructor at Willow. Contact him. My '07 is tuned with a CAI and suspension mods, so I'm out. I live about an hour away.
Good Luck!

Well Road and Track has agreed to bring in a different pro driver for a 5 lap battle.
I'd take Danny to at least make stillens time in the Z06 look pitiful.

RAFTRACER ran there in a stock C6Z06 against a Ferrari Challenge Car/Driver. I'm sure his times were competitive.

Well, one approach is to look at SV web site for results:
http://www.speedventures.com/results/Default.aspx
Go back to BW 13 CW events, can't tell what conditions were but
I see one where Bob M in a C5, non-Z did 2:08's and Larry B.
in C6Z did 2:01's, so I'd not quite split the diff and call it 2:06's for a C5Z.
