Fuses & Relays For Radio Delete & Power Seat Removal
Hello Gentlemen,
I downloaded David Farmer's fuse guide (http://www.davidfarmerstuff.com/c5-fuse.pdf) for a C5 and have a couple of questions.
I removed the radio/cd player from my car's dash in order to mount a G2X display in that portion of the dash. As a result, can I pull the following fuses from the fuse panel in the passenger's foot well?
Fuse 5: Radio/CD Player
Fuse 28: Bose Speakers
Fuse 24: Radio Antenna
While I have put eletrical tape over the connectors, I guess I would rather have those connectors electrically inactive. Would you guys recommend this? I guess I could also remove mini-relay 45 for the Bose speakers too. Right?
Along a similar note, I'm going to be removing the powered driver's seat and replacing it with a racing seat on Hardbar seat rails. Can I pull:
Fuse 4: Driver Seat Control Module
Breaker 35: Driver Power Seat
What do you guys think? Is it better to pull these fuses/breakers/relays or leave the harnesses hot? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.
