Default sights and sounds around the shop!

Nothing sounds better then a old Small block. This engine was built this winter. Doug said "old engine, should still use old camshaft" He is starting to really enjoying this vintage thing.

This is a 427, GM racing block, LS7 heads and a 3 stage dry sump.

I couldnt get a good shot from the back of the car. Because the car is too loud for the Sony I was 40 feet back and it would still go into back up mode. This thing thumps the ground.

Cheer up Randy, I just saw it and liked it. reminded me of my DRM 475 silver 2002 Z06 (march to june '02), Baer upgrade, chassis bar (roll bar), driving lites in front plate area (remember it?). It was the ballz, my friend owns it now and I have an '07 Z06 now, but still love that '02. In '01 you had built my '00 FRC T1 car.
Say Hi to Doug for me.

Joe,
I didn't know your screen name. I wasn't around during the build of your street car. I was either going to school, or up north becoming a man. I do know your race car and got the chance to meet you. Congrats on the new car, they sure are fun!!!

Yes, we did meet, I think you were out in the back room area. Those were the days of Peter S. and crew. Wish you weren't 1500 mi away made that trip a couple of times. Late June 2002 I picked up my Z06 from DRM and had a great road trip home by way of Bowling Green.
You folks at DRM did treat me right though, Thanks.

That first video was possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

Sure I remember that, I sometimes miss just building stuff all day. But being on the phone is sometimes like making airflow, or welding something trick and other days are like burning my foot, and/or killing airflow
