Default Vredestein Track Pressure - Advice ASAP Please

Planning on running on new Vredestein tires tomorrow at Hallett instead of DOT-R just to see how they do. Looking for advice on what hot pressure I should run as a starting point? Run them on the street at 30# but not sure of what to do on the track.

Rick

It looks like there's a good chance of rain there tomorrow so you may not be able to heat up the tires much anyway. According to Google weather it's supposed to be around 58* so I would start off with a cold tire temp of 33F/31R then adjust from there after the first session. However, I read in another thread that John Heinricy gave the advice to run the stock GY F1 SC tires at 32F/29R cold psi in dry conditions. Either way should be fine.

Rick, did you wind up running the Vredestein's at the track?

How did they do?

No, went with my R compounds...... Last minute decision. Gambled on the weather it held up. No rain all day. Maybe next time.
