Default RA1 Take Off tires....Get them while they last!!

Looking for some cost effective tires? We have a few sets of Toyo's RA1's from our World Challenge cars that need good homes!

"We have plenty of RA-1s available.

I believe that we posted this info up last week.
We have to race on what we qualify on. we only do 2 laps of qualifying then race for 45 minutes. The tires are sometimes used for one more practice so they only have about 1.5 hours on them when we take them out of service.

With a 3 car team, we have so many of them available that we have to move them or pay to have them taken away.

$75 per tire or $250 per set of 4. We only have 275's for the front and 335's for the rear (18" front and rear)

Thanks
Lou Gigliotti"

well.... if you have to pay to haul them off, you should sell them cheaper and they will go!

they are likely shaved to 5/32", as that is the way that Toyo used to sell them to us. They are pretty good tires, but shaved, they don't last a long time. HOWEVER, at $75 each it's still a great deal.

We do not have any 19" Toyo's, as I do not believe they made any in the RA1, but they would not allow us to run that either.

All of these are shaved tires and they would give you a few weekends of track use before they were completely used up. Most of these do not have more than 1.5hrs run time on them if that.

I came in Bobby told me to go pick out two from the stack, I picked the best two I saw, which were nearly new, carried them up to the front myself, then Bobby told me that I could not have those. All of the others I saw were pretty much used up and none of them have even a hint of tread left, from what I saw I would be lucky to get one day out of them. I ended up buying nothing.
FYI you may want to think about being more clear about your inventory and what is actually in the stack before telling customers anything in the stack is $75 ea.

Brain,

The only ones that we were not selling were the Rains as a few them are not safe, all of the dry tires are for sale, which every one of them has at least a few weekends left but they are shaved just how all of us in W.C. ran them at 4/32s tread depth...or ghost tread.

Default Smokin Deal!!!!

The tires showed up and given the price I am quite satisfied! There appears to be at least several weekends of HPDE /TT wear left.

A really good deal in my opinion.

Do you have any of the shaved toyos left? Also, how much for the rain tires if you have any worth having?

See post #13 on this thread They look like they are worth the money spent. AZ Mobile tire will come by my house to mount them tomorrow and I will be running them at PIR Saturday morning. I should have bought two sets!
