Default 1994 C4 with C5 Brake Upgrade - Pad Question

I have been going to HPDEs for 2 years (total 6-7) in my 94 on the stock 12" brakes (forget the RPO). I have been using the Performance Friction Z pads and have been quite satisfied. I would like to stay with PF pads.

I have upgraded to the C5 front brakes and have a pad question. I planned to run the PF 01 compound on the front but only the Z or 97 compounds are available for the C4 rears still on the car. Is the Z or 97 a better balance with the 01s on the front?

I do not have ducts (yet) and I am running the Goodyear GS-D3s on wagon wheels (17 and 18)

I have the DRM bias spring but it is not installed. I will install after this event but my C5 upgrade has not gone smoothly as I keep discovering I am missing parts. Which rear compound is better balanced after the spring is installed?

Thanks
