275's on 10.5" wheels ok?
I have a source for lots of 275 series scrubs, but in general I run a wider tire.
I'm looking at getting some new wheels, I want to run 315's but be able to run the cheap 275's when I run out of money to buy new tires...
I'm thinking a 10.5" wheel will do both safely, who can confirm or deny?
Thanks...

The only drawback I can think of is the wheel rims will be exposed, so when you lay the wheels/tires down the wheels will be supporting the weight.
Other than that, I don't see how it would be any different than running a 20mm wider tire on the same wheel, which is done frequently. I don't think pulling the bead will be an issue unless you go off sideways, and you'd be at risk doing that with a 295 series tire anyway.
Main disadvantage I see is your disappointment in running a less grippy tire compared to what you've been running.
HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

I think you'll be fine, I've seen too many guys run stretched tires in drift events. You think your concerned, these guy pitch the cars sideways with as much force to thrown a bead off and it seems to hold.
255/40/18 on a 12" wheel. I think he should have a few more concerns
