Whats with the 'Same Day Delayed'...? Is that a national coverage thing?

Everything here locally is set for LIVE.

According to the ALMS website/schedule, the ALMS race starts at 1:25PM while TV coverage starts at 1:30PM. Either its delayed or ABC will not show the start.

Last week (when I checked the TV times), the IRL website listed TV coverage as "delayed", apparently it will be covered live.

For any of you with Speed HD how much of the stuff is actually in HD?

I'm switching from Dish to Direc on Saturday mostly because of Speed HD.

dam Comcast. Called them to see what it will take to get Speed again. I have to upgrade to a much higher level of digital cable then it is only available with some lame sports package. I'm sure not going to up my bill to them for another $100 just for one channel.

I remember the good old days when Speed was a small outfit in a local garage on cable access

The Local L.A. ABC station schedule now shows that the ALMS race will be televised on a "same day delayed" basis in the L.A. area starting at 3:30PM PDT Saturday
