Swing by the shop on your way up north!!! Contact one of the guys and ask if you can come play. I don't see any issues with your past experience.

I am a 20 year NCCC member, tell me a little about your car and I can tell you what class you would run in.

Motor,shocks,suspension,brakes,roll bar/cage,etc.

Is that Russell Monks old Corvette from Atlanta?

Todd,
You are class III RP. Thats what class Russell ran at Roebling road against me in the T1 car in 2006. If you leave the brakes stock you can run IIIH providing you don't gut the interior.

Great car and great price, Russell didn't short cut anything.

Good luck and tell all the NCCC people I said hello. Would love to come but Kumho keeps me traveling quite a bit.

Thanks Aaron I haven't done the brake upgrade yet and with that in mind i may leave them for this year but i will probly do the Rad for the track days that i do. And your right Russ Built a very awesome car i'm just trying to improve on it which well there isn't much to do except the brakes and the Rad. It's been a blast to drive and Learn. I have been getting it to be a bit more Cruiser Friendly in which i may add the AC back in and a Radio.. But we will see i probly add the radio for sure it's kinda nice on the trips i have taken with the car to have it.

Mabey one Day Aaron you and me can run together and you can let me know if i'm doing as good as Russ did

Sounds good buddy! I would be more than happy to ride with you if we cross paths someday. Sounds like you will do just fine.

Are you going to run just NCCC events or are you getting into NASA/HPDE/TT events?

If you are up there and see Jon Boos, grab him and have him jump in with you. He is an instructor at that track and knows it very well.

Tell him I sent you and say hello for me. I raced against Jon in the 2002 One Lap of America and we were 2nd and 3rd overall. FAST GUY!

Sounds Good Aaron I will do that i would really like to hear from you about one lap of america. a Friend and i have thought about doing it but both want alittle more expericance under our belts and in our cars.

As for what i'm doing i'm mostly a autocrosser that gets out to the track for just open track days and a few HPDE style events I would like to get possibly get into TT some day but with my job and distance from the tracks i don't forsee that ever happening. I am signed up for a open Road Race in nebraska this summer to get my feet wet in them.
