Default Added alittle something to my SA helmet

Well i finnally got Skull Skin It's a fabric product that goes over your helmet. I must say i'm impressed i never thought it would fit over my exceptionally Large SA helmet but it has. here are some pics

My plain white bell helmet.

And with the skull Skin. Gives it something nicer to look at then a plain white helmet anyways. and there are several to choose from. I do have the Piece that goes over my Visor also but have opted to leave it off for the mean time may put it on later.

If you wana check out there website here it is.

Nope it comes off it's washable and breathable so no worry about your vents in the helmet.

It's a strechy material it gets held in place by one piece of velcro that goes in on the top side of the face sheild then snugs down around the bottom of the helmet.

Not bad for ruffly 30 bucks for the skin and about 14 for the shield cover. i think it was about 55 bucks by the time it was shipped to me. granted more expensive then some stickers but cheaper then getting it custom painted. and well no worries if you scratch it or not and well if you don't like it anymore or wana change it to something diffrent no problemo

Cool. Thank you. Just ordered mine. Dificult to decide between iron head and hard head (my wife calls me the latter; but I prefer the colors on the former). Finally went with the iron head.

Thanks for the link. Really annoying website but neat product idea. I am surprised it doesn't have different sizes for helmets but I guess it just stretches a lot?

Good question, I really hope it is not Nylon. Melted Nylon on human skin is very, very ugly. It least cotton just burns, but does not melt. It is a cool idea though, assuming it is safe.

Yeah that it is unfortunatly but yeah the product talked about fiting motorcycle helmets and so i had concerns since well even my motorycle helmets are large and my SA helmet is even larger. I kinda wondered if i wasn't going to rip it when i was installing it but didn't i did have to poke a couple holes in it to get the screws in for my visor.

Unfortunately i don't know i have not found out what material it is. may be something to ask the manufacture. it is a rather stretchy material so i guess it could be a possiblity. hmmm

my cotton pants caught fire on the construction site when using a cut off saw on steel. It was not pretty even though it was 100% cotton pants. I can't imagine synthetics.
