Default Engine Drag Control Active

As a result of switching from stock tires on my C6z06 to Michelin ZP pilot sports, 275-35-18 front and 345-30-19 rears the engine drag control has started to activate. Can this be a danger on a road course?

i don't see how. all it does is keep the throttle cracked so that the engine drag doesn't contribute to deceleration. (under the assumption and/or detection that the rear wheels are slipping.)

Thanks for the info, I forgot to add that when I applied the brakes in a normal fashion the abs kicked in, not the warning light, the ABS itself is this something to be concerned over during road racing?
