Melting Slicks
Awesome cars! 2 of those cars you want can be bought for a lot less at Mongoose Motorsports in Ohio. Replica's of the real ones at a third of the price.
They have the Penske car in stock and ready to sell with Guldstrands autograph and they can build your GTP to spec. Or you buy the kits and build them yourself.
Here's their link. www.mongoosems.com

[QUOTE=RMVette06;1564974327]Great Collection! Mines a little more humble
x2 thats my same exact choices, but I will need to add 2 c6z's, one for the track and one for just ripping around, and I guess a truck load of money for tracking all my new found toys

Greenwood Corvette #76
Gee Wizz thanks Mjolitor 68 for putting my old Greenwood Corvette #76 into your favorites collection.
Long ago (spring of '77) I took over the car from John Greenwood for Rick Mancuso and me and my crew rebuilt that car after tearing it down to the bare frame.
Later that year I drove / raced it at Elkhart Lake in the 1977 June Sprints, raced it at Watkins Glen in the IMSA 6 Hour race and again at the SCCA Twin Trans-Am Races back at Elkhart Lake where I finished 6th OA behind Ludwig Heimrath, Peter Gregg, Tuck Thomas, Monte Shelton & Greg Picket.
The #76 is now in Miami owned by a guy named Golden along with 2 other Greenwood racing Corvettes.
Today you can buy a Revell Monogram model of it at your local hobby store, in the blue Mancuso "Chicago Corvette" paint colors, with my name on the top center of the windsheild!. Pretty cool eh.
Thanks again...........

How did you enjoy racing it ?
It was probably the wildest and most powerfiul Corvette I have ever driven, ever! Tons of fun and definately got me a lot of attention from other racers and fans alike. It also got me a two page center spread in the book "Corvette, A Piece of the Action". Check it out sometime. And then 30 years later a Revell model of it shows up at the hobby shops. Go figure.
