Hey, *****, I'll be there. Testing out the new Ground Control suspension on my V. Won't be able to keep up with you, but the Maggie sounds better (lol).

John, if you come and if you're willing, I'd love you to take a few laps driving/riding in my V

Fixing the nose, under-tray and splitter after starting it on the trailer and popping my hand of the clutch last Nov. at LRP duh on me

I just looked at it in discussed all winter like a fool. Few other tweaks but nothing major aero and weight. Orange on splitter and rear facia is going also, even though I liked it. Two hundered per qt and it fades rapidly to white and big process to paint. I love the long course and hate to miss it. It will be a good year with all the new 427's on track. Poor little 346 with 6,000-7.000+ track only miles.

Best mod is my new vanity plate MIA C5R in tribute to my avatar who passed near two years ago.

Weather looks good for Tuesday and I would be happy to even watch after missing the entire last year on track due to a perfect storm of everything I can think of. Next major mod is a cage for me. Lady Luck don't last forever. Also would like to see some W2W with it if I have time but travel is hard with pets one real old. Can't get someone to care for them with the oldie. That may stymie this season as well.

Very curious to see what new Z's run at the long course modded ones will be even more interesting. Like to try for PDA east course May 2nd but it is slipping away.

So when are you running next?

Ok I do remember that happening, I didnt realize it was so bad. I thought you called it a day when that happened out of anger.

I think I have to wait till 6/20, I am already signed up for summit point.
I think there is still room ?

I could have run it but after missing the entire season I took it as an omen and called it quits. I was not in the proper frame of mind to go on track and may have ended up with worse results. Still happy I called it a day. I had to walk the pits for three hours to calm down before I left. More damage than it looked liked hidden.

I have a buddy that has a really nice 3-bedroom house for rent that's within 5 miles of the track. PM if innerested. Group rate is pretty damn cool.

Stupid question, but how can I find out if there's any room for tomorrow?

call PDA and ask for Joe. They have never sold out the long course during the week so I would bet all I own there is room. The long course takes a bunch of cars to fill and the list is not that long when you look at registration.

http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/inde...ions&Itemid=94 click home then contact us. Register online with a credit card if it takes it your in. Should be a ton of run time.

Usually, I would have gone, but price is a little steep. I have also done that course so many times that I want to save my money for Thunderbolt this year. I was going to do East course, but have other obligations that day, and I will be on vacation during the Grand Slam in July, so it looks like I probably won't make Pocono this year.

I am signed up for Summit Point on the 28th, Watkins Glen on May 5th, and 3 consecutive days at Thunderbolt in the summer. Then the rest of the days will be between the lightning course and the thunderbolt with other clubs. I figured I have worn out Pocono for 7 years, so will take advantage of my 30 minute drive to Milville, NJ

Spoke with Joe and he felt that tomorrow is out of my league because I've only raced twice.. Sounds like an HPDE in May is my best bet (Pocono East course)

Are you sure? It says long course on the schedual

http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/inde...ions&Itemid=94

I think I will go tomorrow to see if I can hang. I made a gentleman's agreement with Joe that if I'm not able to keep up, I'll get off the course

yes I am sure that is what he told me. Do NOT pressure yourself to keep up. May be you can hitch a ride with someone to see a few laps first. Double infield is longer than the long course if that makes any sense!
