GRM Feature: $2007 Challenge Cheapparal Sucker C4
The May issue of Grass Roots Motorsports has a feature on
the '86 C4 that Team Cheapparal fitted with twin turbos and
an Abrams exhaust blower driven by a two-stroke snowmobile
engine.
There is also a sidebar interview with the driver, some guy named
Danny Popp, who recounts his impressions of the car.

A few weeks ago, I was sitting in a car while test fitting seats and main roll bar hoop.... and the fabricator guys says, "here, read this, check out this sucker Vette".
I said, "Hey! I know that guy!"
Small world. I sent him the UTube link of the interview of one of the owners.
RAFT Racing is coming to a town somewhere near you. It's up to you whether you're prepared or not

Drifting
That was a crazy ride. Something like a two second advantage over non-sucker on a 30 second autocross course? Unreal. Oh, and they could pull the whole 200 pound assembly when they needed to go in a straight line. Very, very good design.
