Shocks for C4 Trackday car
What is the "best" shocks for a C4 trackday car? The car is also used on the streets, but comfort is 2nd periorty, and control no.1.
The car is 96`Grand Sport Z51
-DRM complete brake kit
-poly sway bushings.
-lowerd "maximum". (not coil over)
Does somebody know in what direction to look

I found the QA1's a good bang for the buck. Depends on "how much" you want to spend! You could spends thousands on Penske...

QA1 makes both single adjustable (what I have) and must have come out with double adjustable recently. You can dial in a soft ride, setup for auto-x, or track settings. Easily adjustable with a ****.

I tried several custom Bilstein valvings. They were all too bouncy.
I think that that internal gas spring upsets the damping.
Went to Koni yellows, set firm. Rides great.
FTD at POC event.
(also recommend VBP extreme springs)

For what it's worth we just put Koni Yellows on our 94.
Unfortunately, it rained most of the weekend at Mid Ohio so I can't give a real comparison (we had the stock Bilsteins with 80K on before). I share the car with my brother so I have no street impressions either (he drove to and from the event).
Anyway, they are about $650 for the set. One thing to keep in mind is that the rear Koni's need to be removed to adjust; it's my understanding that the QA1 can be adjusted on the car. Most people say to set the rears at full soft and be done. We set ours at one turn.
