Default autocross vid

I took the z06 out to the local autocross a couple weekends ago to shake off the cobwebs and work out some bugs. I was having trouble getting my incar camera to not shut off after the one-two shift, so all that footage is gone. Luckly one of my friends had his camera and atleast got some footage.

I've got the camera thing pretty much worked out in the vette now. I'm going back out this weekend so I should get some good footage.

Just for good measure here is a shaky shot of an autox I did the following weekend in my EVO... if you get motion sickness easy you might not want to watch.

Does your camera recording to a hard drive? I've had no vibration/shock problems with my old Hi8 digital camcorder.

yep its got an HD but I just bought an SD card so I can record w/o worrying about the camera shutting off. I have an old HI8 recorder too but I didn't think it was easy to convert that stuff to another format for the internets.

That SD card should solve your problems quite nicely; let us know how well it works. My camcorder has a firewire interface that makes downloading the video to my computer a piece of cake.

I putzed around with trying to do video editing for a couple of years before I found Sony's Vegas video software. A bit pricey, but well, well, worth it, especially if you're thinking about doing other kinds of video work.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
