Street/ Track Tires for 9.5/11 combo?
I'm not seeing Kumho street tires for 11" wheels.
I'm looking for a combo set that will fit on ZR1 rims, mostly street and some "light" HPDE for the new C4 that seems to be coming my way...

It's getting hard to find a suitable 315/35-17 tire that will provide great performance like you want. Not many companies make that size anymore. Kumho doesn't currently make a 315/35-17.
If you do a search on the Tire Rack website by that tire size and it shows the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 is on backorder and they only have 7 Goodrich KD's in stock. Either tire will be about $260 each. Both are very good tires for street use and HPDE but the KD is not the best wet tire.

Sumitomo HTR Z
Look on Tirerack for Sumitomo HTR Z
They come in 315/35-17
$99 each. I have used them on my C4 for a long time and have great tire life. Not a track tire, but not that bad on the street for the price.

there's a guy on ebay selling pairs of the 315 KDs for $350 new, Nitto also has the plain 555 in a 315 now, both allow matched sets. I personally hate the sumis with a passion. scary to take corners with, no traction and even less when they are cold.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a set of 17x9.5 sawblades for the rear and running a good set of 275/45/17 Kumhos all around.
Probably a better street/track option then anything Tire Rack or discount tire offers in a 315 combo that will satisfy the rear size.
Thanks

had the same thought, only issue is the 50 tread rating on those kumhos. you could do a nitto 555R2 in 275 40 17 on all 4. that's their 100 treadrating road race tire that you can get 8000-12000 miles out of with very good grip.

I don't track very hard these days,
That's not my main need for the car.
I could run Ecsta SPT (what happened to the Ecsta 712s?) and be happy.
