Those with Penske dual adjustable with secondary canisters...
My dad has purchased a set of these shocks and we are trying to figure out where to mount them. Where do you have them mounted?

If you are referring to the resevoirs, I have several friends that have a mounting "kit" so to speak that have resevoir can shaped "bushings" that allow you to strap them to the rear sway bar. You have to be mindful of moving parts etc when you route the can, but they have many track/autox miles on their cars without problem.

C5 or C6? On my C6 I mounted the front on the airboxes, and the rears are tucked in the rear fascia. All mounted with Joe's Canister Mounts.
Rears by back-up lights:
Front on air box:
(Geez, Gary, those cans sure look familiar... )

Has anyone mounted them on the inside of the hatch area in a c4?? This would make adjustments real easy, just pop the hatch and go to it.
That's what I'd like to do, I figured I'd strap them to the roll cage. The only problem with this is that you'd have to disconnect the resivoir from the shock, what all is involved in getting the can back up to preassure? Would this be possible, or does the canister have to stay connected to the shock at all times?

C6 I had them all mounted to the sway bars. Fronts mounted in the middle and rears on the upward turns toward the control arms. I think fronts are best mounted in the engine bay, though. To mount to sway bars, goto JC Witney for remote reservoir mounts (they're specific to Volkswagon buggies). They are spefically cut with a 2" concave radius matching the reservoir and variable on the other side to fit your size bar. For small bars, wrap the bar with heater hose first. Use pipe clamps.

Go to your locall grocery store and find on of these with the slots going across instead of length wise.
Take a round metal or wood object and clamp it to the spatula and dip it to hot water to soften the plastic. Tighten the hose clamps and redip in the hot water. Keep repeating till plastic is formed to your liking. Then cut the handle off.
