They are a few years old ( 3 ) and have been off the car for about a
year and a half. They were used on a 02 Z06 that was lowered on the
stock bolts. Reese @ MTI is pretty good at setting these up. They
hold pressure and work great!
Thanks!

In Penske speak, the first letter is the compression stack, the second is the rebound stack. "A" is the softest (actually AA, but that would be like nothing there) then "A+" then "B-" and so on up to "F" which is the stiffest (most force). The other thing not said is the "bleed" which is a port that the oil flows through before the valves open. It is like a idle jet in a carburetor. The bleed (aka bypass) determines when the valving opens and gives you the knee in the curve, and is something like .020 inches. See page 18 of the Penske manual downloadable here:
http://hardbarusa.com/PenskeManual.pdf to see the stacks.
So B/D front is pretty common linear piston front, B/B+ is alot softer than what we do. In any case, it is an easy thing to change if you don't like it.
