Default T1 control arms. How good are the bushings?

I have a choice of either the T1 control arms or VB&P bushing installed. I've already done the front with VB&P bushings. It was such a pain to install, I'm thinking of just buying the T1 control arms for the rear. What do you think. This is a track car only.

thanks,
Steve

There are about the same. Guys run either.

If some one is changing the stock control arms, they just buy the VBP bushings. If they buy the whole arm, they get the T1s

VBP are harder so better less deflection.

I'm not sure the rear T1 a-arms have any different bushings than a stock a-arm... or if there even are T1 a-arms for the rear. In my long list of things I've bought for my 02 Z06 (I keep the part numbers I've ordered for future reference), I don't have any rear a-arms listed.

Based on my limited experience, the T1 bushings really don't seem that much stiffer than stock and I suspect, but don't know, that aftermarket poly bushings are a better option (once you get past the pain of installation).

The T1 bushings are stiff, but they also create torsion resistance. The VBP, and other poly bushings, give similar stiffness in displacement, but allow the joints to rotate more freely.

If you aren't rules bound, I'd go with poly from VBP or Pfadt

Whats the advantage of the T1 control arms over stock? Besides the better bushing.

T-1's will never squeak because like David said the rubber is bonded to the A-arm on the exterior surface.
