Mid Ohio w/ OVR PCA
Had a blast this weekend running Mid Ohio with the Ohio Valley - Porche Club of America. Can't wait to go back.
Thanks to Phil Osborne for showing me the line; dry and wet. Got to ride with Phil and realized it is 20 mph faster in the right seat.
Thanks to Danny Popp for setting the car up.
And a special thanks to my wife for the wheels and tires.

Don, was it your first time there? I wanted to fit it in this year but I don't think I'll be able to. What track have you been on that seems similar? impressions? Oh yeah, about those wheels/tires, does Donna have any available sisters??

It was my first time at Mid Ohio. VIR would be similar. Great track, lots of elevation change. Long back staight lots of speed going into turn seven then uphill and left turn at Madness down hill to nine uphill to ten down hill and blind to turn 11, right at Thunder Valley. Did I mention elevation changes? Thru the Carousel on to the front straight, dog leg left then thru the essess thru the Keyhole and onto the back straight.
Donna doesn't have any sisters.
Are you going to Road America?

Man O man, I knew I wanted to try Mid Ohio this year. I guess I'll only get to do a half dozen or so repeats of familiar tracks. My first this year will be Putnam 20th May. I'll probably get over to VIR, RA, and Barber later. Of course, the bouncy, bouncy BNA, too. I'll miss road america. You need to plan on Road Atlanta with CHIN this year; looks to be a pretty fast group from the roster.
Does Phil run the Lotus?
