Default [C4] can I remove the front spoiler without ruining the aero?

You know ... that 3 piece spoiler on the bottom front:

I'd love to remove it but don't know what effect it would have on the aero? Should I? Should I not?

Absolutely not. Remember, the Corvette is a bottom feeder, that is, it gets air for cooling and engine from under the front bumper. The air dam is there to direct the air to the radiator and air intake.

On my 92 I was missing part of it and at 110 on the back straight at Road Atlanta it wanted to become an airplane

With the part back on at Roebling road 125 at the end of the front straight the nose was still planted.

That reminds me I need to order a new one, I think mine is original and is looking a little worn.

Road Atlanta has a kink in the back straight, and cars have literally become aeroplanes.

I don't think it will effect your aero appreciably, but it will hurt cooling. You can probably take the sides off, but keep the center flap.

I know they're bottom feeders but was kind of hoping. As always, thanks to CF!
