Default Just bought Nitto r2's and have some questions..

The only size available for my C5 stock 17x8.5 rims in the front are 274/40 17's will these tires fit my rims securely? the rears are 285/35 18's and I know those will fit the 18x9.5's...also the car will still be driven on the street about twice a week with these tires, so I want to know how is the ride and noise levels? Do they skid around like the runflats on corner bumps?? Im coming from bfgoodrich KDW's

thanks

Those rims will be ok. The perfered rim for the 275s are 9.5. On my C4 I ran 275s on a 9.5 rim and the 285s on a 10.5 rim. I ran these tires for 3 years and drove to and from all events approx 300 miles round trip. These tires are not noisy at all. The side walls are stiff so your ride quality on the street will less smooth. Overall a great tire! Good choice!

I just finished 2 days at Laguna Seca with 275s and 305s on my 01Z06.
Those tire are quiet on the hiway and sticky on the track, I've never felt my car handle as neutral as it did. You're going to love those tires.

Love my RIIs! I didn't have them at the track last weekend and back on the street tires.

I just bought the 17x275 and 18x305 combo and they fit perfect (I mounted on 9.5 and 10.5 though). I just put them on a couple days ago and taking it to the track on Tuesday. I could really tell how sticky they are form my road test though. Cant wait to be on the track with them.
