HPDE - Roll Call for Tarheel SCC/Triangle Z Club @ VIR - May 28-29
There's alot going on at VIR the last week of May...
I've run HPDE's at many roadcourses over the years, but never at VIR, and this will be my first hi-speed event in this new car. I don't particularly feel comfortable taking an unfamiliar car to a marque-specific event like the SVT Club or PCA for my first event at this place, so I am considering this club's event on May 28-29.
Just wondering who's attending?? How is THSCC at running these events - do you recommend them?

Robert,
THSCC puts on a great event and very safe. I have attended many of their DE's and there are all kinds of cars - usually plenty of Corvettes. I won't make that one as I am doing a 3 day event with the Porsche Club on 5/22-5/24. You will love VIR.

I'll be there for the second time this season. Ran with them earlier at VIR. Very well run organization. Great instructors, run safely, on time and with a smile!!! I ran with them last year also and had a ball. Great group from THSCC and great group of attendees.

I will be there for both the Tarheel / Triangle Z and for the SVT Cobra Club events. FIVE straight days of track!!!
These are both great groups to run with. The Cobra guys like having other cars to run with although my wife has bruised a few male egos in her Z06!!!
They have retagged me the "SVT TRAITOR" on their forums!!
