"Riley Technologies plans to pursue SCCA and NASA eligibility for the newest offering, which is anticipated to commence deliveries this fall."
Hmmm new NASA Super Unlimited car.
If mid Hundreds means anything like the housing market, then Mid Hundreds is 600-800K

to say $1/2M if the intention was to price this in the $400-$600K range.
All things considered, how hard/expensive would it be for Riley to offer
track-prepped knock-offs of what is essentially a domestic Ultima?

I interpreted "mid-$100k range" to mean $145-$165K. I'd expect them
to say $1/2M if the intention was to price this in the $400-$600K range.

I only know what appears in the link that joemoia provided:
"The newest Riley will take to the track utilizing a mid-engine crate
motor, with over 500 horsepower motivating the lightweight machine"
I looked on Riley's site for more information on the proposed vehicle,
but drew a blank. However, after looking again at the offer for the
MKXI DP1 car ($405K on scrubs w/ customer's Pontiac, Ford, Lexus,
BMW or Porsche engine) and also at the MKXV GT car ($78K rolling
chassis/$275K for complete car, less eng), I have to concede that my
interpretation of the price mentioned by SPEEDTV must be incorrect.

Riley did LG's new GT2 car.....I think that's the same Riley.....anyway, not everything they build is as ugly as DP (although the DP racing is quite good).
