I just took a pretty nice pic from the magazine, reduced it down to 4.5mb but can make it smaller yet if needed.
If anybody wants to host it send me your email address, I cannot host anything at the moment.
Thanks!

Safety Car
GM still denies the existence of this car. Everyone is Europe has known of it for many many months.
GM has decided (maybe) that there's no point to staying in GT1. They have to go to LMP1 and the car has to look like the Corvette. The did a big time lobby job on the LeMans people to require closed cars in LMP1, and won.
Fehan and Gary Pratt want to go LMP1 real bad. On the other hand GM is bleeding money. The car exists, it's been to the wind tunnel and things look good. On the other had the budget could disappear very quickly if GM can't figure out how to make money.

From what I heard closed cockpit was coming with or without a Corvette. You are right money is going to be a big problem for GM in the current market. They way cash is being burned they had 35 billion but to lose 3.5 billion in one quarter will show you how fast it will be gone.

Awfully early to be building for 2010, when the P1 rules have not been put in place yet. We should know more after Lemans though.

GM pulled the plug on this one. AutoExtremist has all of the details. Basically GM decided the money was better spent in the NASCAR programs.
Now it looks as if GT1 is going to go away. There will be a GT2 program only in the future. This is going to get very interesting.

When you are losing 3.5 billion in a quarter you don't have any extra money. It is easier to say we want NASCAR than we don't have the coin! Their money making Malibu is now severly affected by the strike for an even deeper hit in the pocket book. I doubt the want to spend the money on the development of a mid engine car either. I guess C7 will be lighter and that different mechanically.
Even Ford has now turned a 100 million dollar profit in a quarter which is not great for a company that size but at leasted they may have turned the corner unlike GM. The strike is only part of the 3.5 billion dollar loss, about 800 million so far is the strike.

Makes sense now why the have not helped LGM running in GT2 they don't want the competition. They knew they were dropping out of GT-1.
As Louis said they hate us. They are so stupid it is still there car but they don't want it to win that's why they never sold any C5R's to customers to run.

Between management and the way overpaid union members it is a wonder GM is even still around. Whole lot of idiots involved that cannot see beyond their noses and those that have tried do so in vain. I know they are making some great progress on QA in everything from design, globalizing platforms, building at least some attractive models, etc. I do hope they can overcome the huge obstacles and make us proud of them.
I did not buy a Vette because of any loyalty to the company, only because it was the car that would do what I wanted it to and I could take it to any level I chose. I wish this can change in the future and am even looking pretty hard at the G8 GT or holding out for the GXP for my street car, I want to love this company, really!
