Default Anyone have VBP Poly Bushings?

OK, so I had a local tuner change out all my stock bushings on my 97 coupe with VBP polyurethane bushings. Now, the entire car creaks like crazy when I go over uneven surfaces. I gave the car back and told them to fix it. They called me and said it was all done and much better. I just picked it up and there is no improvement. Has anyone else intalled these particular bushings? Did you have loud suspension creaks afterward?

NOTE: Also put in Z06 sways, springs, and shocks at the same time. Told shop to relube them as well when the car went back.

Similar, but different. I installed the Pfadt poly suspension bushings myself; no noise at all, even with the dual-rate Hardbar coilovers on the car now.

I have VBP poly bushings installed by a very trusted shop who used aircraft lubricant and it squeaks. They re did it and after awhile, still squeaks.

I think i will call Aaron and try some Pfadt's.

I didn't have any noise, but 2.5 years later I get creaks. If you want a quiet car don't change out the stock bushings.

All poly bushings creak with time - fact of life. I love my VBP bushings for the performance they give.

If you put adj end links on your sways that is the source of most of your noise. I only run one adj end link per sway (reduces cost and noise)

I did the VBP poly bushing myself. Used Teflon grease like you are suppose to do. Car creaks like crazy. I had them done on my Lightning long ago same thing. Just the nature of the beast.

Endlinks are OEM Z06 links, not adjustable.

This is creaking like crazy right out of the shop. Not months or years later.

Lubed everything on mine. End links (T-1), bushings, sway pillow blocks, everything. Make sure shock attachment points are tightened down too. No squeeking. Pfadt bushing set, all four corners. Very nice.

Spray them with WD40. It'll go away for awhile. Spray them again when they start squeaking again.

I used lots of lubricant & have not heard a bushing squeek. With poly bushings, VBP springs, Pfadt camber plates, T-1 bars, & revalved Bilsteins, I can't hear anything but the sweet music of long tubes & GHL Bullets under serious acceleration! And, it corners like it's on rails!

got the vbp's on mine and lots of noise. function over form becomes a convenience trade-off after you surpass the standard performance bolt-ons.

I have the VBPs and installed them myself. I lubed them well (hardy har har) and they didn't squeak much for a few weeks. They're pretty loud now. That's just the nature of the beast. If you're interested you could take a ride in my car to compare.

PS- I still have that cargo cover thing for you, I have it w/ me at work.
