Default Speedline 18x10.5/12" wide race wheels, R888s

ALL SOLD, final set shipping today, July 23rd 2008, thanks

My car will not be out until spring now, best to sell the tires while still fresh, great low weight, high quality wheel/tire deal here

Will separate if I get a decent offer on wheels and tires.

All wheels are C5 offset and brand new Speedlines.

2 complete complete sets with tires which have one heat cycle, they were shaved and then used just once.

Fronts are 18x10.5 with 305 R888, rears are 18x12 with 315 R888 tires.

$1795 shipped for the full set, front, rears and 4 tires mounted and balanced.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rears were widened by World of Wheels in MI to 12". (World of Wheels does very nice work I might add

One set never mounted on a car, one set mounted but never moved an inch.

No low ballers please, I do not "have" or "need" to sell these and will run them if not sold for a decent price.

Email me for pics but only if seriously interested please.

OBO of course for reasonable offers.

Paypal accepted with a verified account, confirmed shipping address.

All major CC and Debit cards as well.

Thanks,
Rick

They are the wheels from the 02 Z06, not sure how they fit on a C6Z, I imagine they are fine but maybe someone here knows for sure.

they need to be widened on the OUTSITE for a C6 Z06, although they probably will fit. I run Speedline 10.5's on my Z06 all the time, although it would be great if they were an inch wider on the outside edge.

this is a 10.5" speedline on the rear of a z06. In person, they sit waayyy in, more than the photo suggests. While they work great, it would be awesome if the offset pushed them out (front and rear) about an inch.

I was hoping that was not the case as I really do not want to sell all these, not yet anyway, I am slowly(as funds permit) going to have 3 sets of Corsairs, ouch!!!!!!!

In the mean time I wanted to run these, I suppose some quality spacers would do the trick though I generally tend to not use them when possible.

Thanks for the info

Rick

HMMMMM, maybe I will just buy three more sets of these Speedlines and have them widened on the front and just sell the rears I have now. I love these wheels, they seem plenty strong enough, good looking, low weight, etc....

Default Semi-nonpertinent question

Are these Speedline wheels the same weight as the OEM Z06 wheels?

Thanks, and have a good one,
Mike

They are OEM Z06 wheels

On my scale the ones I was going to use up front, the rear Z06 OEM Speedlines, 18x10.5's, weigh 19.6lbs and the rears I had widened weigh 21.4 lbs. Nice and low weight wheels!

so you just want to get wider rears or why the swap to corsairs if these work so well?

looks like david farmer is using these same type of wheels on his c6z?

There are a few reasons I want the Corsairs, not all logical by any means!

1) wider, I always go as wide as I can afford

2) did not buy them at first because 3 sets costs allot of money

3) business has been great, building the car far beyond my original plans including new body, I have more discretionary income(sort of, blew another $20k on the car in the last month and did not get all I wanted)

4) new body needs different offset wheels to fill out the fenders, wider track means better handling, better looks, etc..

5) main reason, because I want them

If these do not sell for a really good price(for me) I will keep and run them, maybe use spacers, already have longer studs.

Thanks

Due to a couple of PM's and posts I had forgotten what I had said(I have the flue so a bit disoriented last night, typing with the spins was a bit tough, sorry) here is some clarification.

1) These are 02+ Speedlines, not the 01 forged Alcoas.

2) All were bought new from Bob at House of Wheels in FL, they are the real wheel, not a knockoff.

3) I had 6 shipped to World of Wheels in MI to have widened to 12", I sold two to a local racer awhile back.

4) I am selling the wheels and tires as a complete set, not breaking them up.

5) Each set of new wheels, 2)18x10.5, 2) 18x12, cost me around $1,400 and the time it takes to ship from FL to MI, have widened and shipped to Utah, about half the price of new Corsairs.

6) Tires are take offs from a pro team, I got them from John Berget at $420 per set. They are in excellent condition with a ton of life left in them but my car will not be driven until next season and I do not want to keep them over the winter.

7) I had the tires mounted, balanced, put one set on the car but it has not moved an inch, then really tore the car down so took them off, on the car for about 2 weeks just parked. The other set has not been on a car at all.

8) At $1795 shipped I am asking not much less than I have into them if you do not count the time to set this up, haul them around, WAIT to get the wheels widened, etc.... and shipping costs.

BUT, they are ready to roll now, if somebody needs a great set of low cost, low weight, high quality wheels that also look dang fine, and right away, I have them here for you

If they do not sell then I will bag and tag them and run them next year, if they do sell then I have all winter to order up Corsairs, can spread out the pain a bit longer that way

9) I am willing to split them up only if I get serious offers on the tires and wheels, fronts, rears, whatever that adds up to about the same price or darn close to it that I am asking for the whole set, if not, no worries, I like them enough to run them.

Again sorry for any confusion, etc, I do feel better today, now I have to start and engine swap for my kids race car since I blew it up for them, we are all taking it out this weekend

I am really set on my Vette build for parts, the only thing now I want is billet or fabricated uprights, monoball control arm bushings, either a crate LS3 or LS7 bare block and heads(have not decided which way to go for certain yet)

I take all credit and debit cards

Thanks,
Rick
