I am sure LG loves Lucas Luhr after what he said that F'in A hole Luhr is!

Did you guys see the Audi P1 winner griping about colliding with a corvette that was "slow and shouldn't be in his way" (or something to that effect)?

Geez!

Also, do you think Speed ran enough commercials? Their coverage of the race seemed poor compared to the Daytona Proto Laguna race.

I didn't see that particular collision. What happened with those two?

Props to LG for building such a sturdy car. That thing can take a beating!

Terrible coverage, they didn't spend any time in the pits updating team situation. I could have ran better coverage with a handheld camera, laptop and cellphone. Great job to LG, things are looking up!

BTW..... Luhr is a total jackass and I hope he crashes and DNF's every race the rest of the season.

It wasn't just those two - it seems as if all the prototype cars believe they own the track and anyone in their way is in jeopardy.

That goes without saying I was just curious about that particular collision.

Guess they gave Luhr the penalty because it wasn't his fault that PIN HEAD!

IIRC, the Prototype car was coming off a corner, and rather than slowing just a bit so he wouldn't have to go so wide, he opted to move into the same space that Lu's car was already occupying.

My first thought was this guy seriously loves himself; stuckup snob loser but load etc. And he ran into Lou! So how do I really feel?

If you are talking about the Ferrari that hit Lou, that's the #62, and assuming you mean this year, not last year at Sebring, yes, that's the same car that hit the Porsche.

Same driver even, Jamie Melo.

No. The # 48 had a fire in that race, the 2007 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring while Jaime Melo had the last lap battle with the # 45 Porsche.

The contact with Luhr is nothing like that of Patrick Long hitting 11 Primetime Race Group's # Viper at St. Pete which sent it into the wall.

Mello also took out the Farnbcher Loles 911RSR at this year's Sebring race

That race was a nightmare of mistakes. I was very happy to see Lou handle all the hits so well. Audi should apologize for the BS statement their driver made. Yet another reason I hate the P cars.

Seems hard to have such different speed cars on the same track. Kudos to Lou and his team for making a good showing. First year must be a beeyotch.

Another reason why this is WAY better than NASCAR!! they can still have a little contact without black flags, fines,etc..etc.. Although i did hate seeing Lou's car get tagged... I was mighty impressed with its durability and the drivers ability to handle the situation!!

stupid comments from drivers are what makes rivalries and add a little behind the scene story.. that guy was a douche.. but the whole world saw his doucheness..

thanks for clearing that up... the guy is a regular stunt driver.. I'd love to hear his reason for hitting Lou.. I mean it seems like he jsut wasnt paying attention... I hope Lou fills us in with his side of the story!!
