Left overs from VIR
Everone loves left overs from a Sunday afternoon's lunch, well I have something with less fat
I submitted my story to Corvette Enthusiast Magazine and I have a few images left over from my photo shoot that I thought you all would enjoy
The story should run in about three months. I covered Team Sahlen running two Corvettes in the GT class of the Rolex Series last month at VIR. The No. 42 finished 7th with the No. 43 Corvette coming in 15th. Two very good efforts for a team with out any backing from GM or the Corvette factory.
No. 42 HRPworld.com Corvette lays down the power heading onto the back stretch.
Team Sahlen Corvettes in turn three pulling away from a pack of Porsches.
A Daytona Prototype sits on the front stretch waiting to start the race.
Three is a crowd on the "Roller Coaster"
Curb hopping in a Porsche GT3 cup car.
Her credentials say it all

The eye candy was nice to look at, then I remembered I was there to do some work
I was able to interview all four drivers along with the crew, great people and a bunch of motor heads too.
Joe Nonnamaker is team owner and co-drives the No. 43 Corvette, he has owned eight Corvettes and raced his 67 4 speed Sting Ray way back in the day. His sons Wayne and Will are drivers and motor heads also, Will extends an invite to any Corvette fan or motor head to come on down to the paddock area and visit with them and get a tour of the operation
Drop by around lunch time, they put out a good table of eats. The hot dogs are the best I have ever had
